‘Ink to Action’ 2026
Born and bred in Johannesburg, South Africa, Rachel’s introduction to theatre was through the mediums of devising, workshop and protest theatre - still inspiring her work today.
Rachel moved to The Big Smoke in 2020 when she began her BA Acting degree at Rose Bruford College. After which, and whilst pursuing her acting career, she co-founded RamPage Theatre Company (2023). It was then that she began her work experience as a producer.
Under this company, Rachel also established herself as a playwright in her own right, producing her own scripts for stage. From this she gained notice through various writing competitions and Fringe recognition awards.
Recently Rachel wrote for All The Rage - a production conceived by Rebecca Lenkiewicz and produced by Lucy Morrison and Roxanne Carney. Her piece ‘No Worries If Not!!’ was presented alongside Zinnie Harris, Lucy Kirkwood and others in this theatrical response to the Epstein Files.
In Autumn 2026, Rachel starts her online studies, a part-time Diploma in Creative Writing at Oxford University.
Rachel established RamPage Theatre with the objective of staging and producing work by unrepresented groups in the industry - specifically women.
Over the years that she ran the company, she had the privilege of connecting and working with many brilliant and emerging writers, actors and directors.
Since 2023, Rachel has produced and hosted readings, workshops, rehearsals and scratch nights across venues such as; the Bush Theatre, Apple Yard, Theatre Deli and Libra Theatre Cafe. She also produced a number of Camden Fringe productions - which performed at venues The Kings Head and The Cockpit.
Whilst developing and strengthening her administrative skills, Rachel is always tip-tapping away at her own work.

Her play ‘Am I Next?’ was long listed for The Women’s Prize in Playwriting, 2025. Previously, Rachel had produced and performed in a rehearsed reading of it at The Omnibus Theatre in 2025.

Additionally her play ‘Every Great Man’ in which she performed in the role of ‘Alex’ was nominated for an OffFest Award at the OffWestEnd Awards 2026.
